A male United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

I like this girl we've looked at each other from time to time and I said that I have a crush on you and that she's beautiful. She replied saying "ha thanks:)" and then we talked and today I sent her a message with the words of the song "your so beautiful" by Akon then she replied back saying "Tyler I'm sorry but I really don't like you, I'm sorry. So I don't know if I should move on or do somthing about it.

Well, if she doesn't like you then there's not much you can do. You can't and shouldn't try to force a girl to like you. Talk to her and see if you guys can still be friends(IF you want to be), But other than that, move on. You'll find someone sooner or later. Just wait for them to come to you, don't try to chase them.

WhiteKnight agony auntWell dude, the answer is clear. You must move on. While she appreciated your gesture and words I'm sure, she couldn't have made herself any clearer. You have two options: 1) You could continue to try and charm her, ie flowers, send her more flattering words, songs, whatever, or 2) You can read her response, take it in and accept it.

Option 1 will result in disaster! Option 2 is the one where you can sustain your dignity, being a man, and allowing yourself to move on, which in turn will let you find happiness.

But, DON'T take it personally, don't let it hurt your self esteem bro. Trust me, I've been there, and truth is in life you're going to have to get used to rejection. It happens. Be thankful that she made herself clear, that way you can move on with your life. Soon you will meet someone nice, who is flattered and feels a spark back unto you.

But nice work on having the balls to actually say to her that you liked her. For many, that is the hardest part!

Time to move on buddy :)

I think you should talk to her face to face and if she is sure that there are no feelings there. Then I recommend that you move on if there isn't. I know that it suxs when the person you like dosen't like you back. But if you hang on to the possibility that something could happen you are only hurting yourself.
