reader, anonymous, writes (22 October 2008): To answer your questions "No he is not secretely seeing her...he is seeing her openly, he kisses her in public she sleeps over at his place" I would think it is pretty obvious they like one another.
You say he fancies you but is not prepared to take the final step and ask you out, in which case he is entitled to see your female friend in whatever way he pleases.
All indications are that he does respect you for he hasn't tried it on with you, he hasn't cheated on you and has been a good mate to you, even though I perceive you would like to take your relationship further.
I had a hard time trying to understand the reason for the post so at the risk of offending you... do I sense a twinge of jealousy in your post...
