writes: I think my boyfriend was sexually abused as a child. He shows so many signs of someone who was sexually abused. For example he has problems with drug and alcohol abuse, has sexual promiscuity, is depressed a lot, has tried to commit suicide before, and is afraid of getting close to people. He hasn't told me yet, but my best friend was also sexually abused so it isn't hard for me to see the signs. I just don't know what I should do about it. Should I wait for him to say something or should I say something? Also how can I help him with this if he doesn't want to talk about it? I am scared to bring it up, but I know if he never deals with his issues he won't ever get over this and be able to be in a normal healthy relationship.
