 Taste of India is right... she gave the perfect definition of a fetish. Some guys just think glasses are cute, others are attracted to the girl because she can "pull it off."
What do you mean they don't give girls with glasses a chance? If you look killer in glasses, you still look killer.
What is flattering and what is not is all subjective. Some people look stunning with glasses. Some people just look naked without their glasses.
It's the same way with hair, some people look great with blond hair. I dyed my hair blond, on the other hand, and I looked like a whore (there's nothing wrong with blond hair, it just didn't flatter me).
It's pretty clear to me that your boyfriend likes you the way you are. :)

 Well, he doesn't necessarily have a fetish. (All though, I think you're misusing the word. Fetish implies that he can't get sexually aroused without a dirty blond with glasses.) He might, I'm not saying it's impossible... but he might just think glasses are cute. Or that you and his ex were both cute girls who happened to wear glasses.
I wear glasses, and my fella loves me in them. I whine sometimes about having to wear them all the time, and one of these days I'll get contacts, but he always complains, "but I'll miss your glasses!". Who knew they were so popular? Some girls look killer in glasses, ain't no shame in frames.

reader, anonymous, writes (5 August 2009): yeah of course its possible. i'm a guy and personally i think glasses can be really sexy on girls if it suits them. why don't you just ask him? people are too afraid these days to ask what their partners like. and you already have glasses and the hair he likes, so if i was you i'd be thankful that you're the type of girl he's attracted to. and he might look at other girls (and to be honest a lot of guys do), but you can be quite confident that as long as you keep the glasses and the hair he's not gonna need to go and find someone else who's closer to what he's looking for :)
