Keep him as a friend for now. If there comes a time when you are both single, then, perhaps you could consider asking him out.

reader, anonymous, writes (16 July 2005): i think you thinking your old friend is your true love is just a reaction to all of this. you may be thinking that since you have a new guy friend, you cant look at him in just a friendly way. Also, you have a boyfriend. you love him. keep it up with your boyfriend, and if you keep thinking he is your true love, stop seeing, and talking to him for a few weeks and think all about your boyfriend, a couple weeks later, you should be able to think of your friend, as just and only a friend. good luck~Robin~aka advice gurl
