He is a very experienced guy, and has had many long term relationships, which means- a lot of sex. and he has never once gotten a girl pregnant, so i feel like he knows what he is doing. But I am a very paranoid person, and I am afraid I could be. I am too scared to take a test, because I am afraid of the results. I got my period almost three weeks after we had sex, but my period is irregular, and I get it almost every three months. I havent had any symptoms. I dont know, maybe I am worrying a little too much. Please help me.

Maybe your a paranoid person? I was the same first time, even though I knew I couldn't be. Just relax, you had your period.

If you are concerned because your period is so irregular, it would probably put your mind at ease if you took an over the counter test, following the directions closely. The chances that you are pregnant are remote, but worrying about this is worse.

Of course there's always the slight chance that you could be pregnant, so you should get tested just to put your mind at ease! You are most likely not though since you've had a period even though it was irregular. Also your irregular period could be due to the amount of stress you're putting yourself under thinking about this. So again get tested! When you are positive that you are not, you should definitly see about going on some form of birth control in addition to condoms which any Planned Parenthood can help you with. Also, your boyfriend should not be laughing at you! Personally I am somewhat like you in that I would also be very paranoid if I had just had sex with only a condom. I just can't do it with peace in mind unless I'm also on the Pill. Good luck!

You got your period after 3 weeks you had sex means you are not pregnant. Everything is OK. No need to worry.
