I think if were geographically closer it really could work. I have been doing some serious flirting, and she seems to like it, and even does a little herself.I know the risks and potential problems.Thoughts and advice?

There must be a great amount of trust due to the distance and such. Is she still attending uni in the states? Maybe, she could study abroad through a foreign exchange program at a university near you? :) I am from America and plan on studying in Scotland for a lad that I fancy. ;) Good Luck, Brooke

i was with a guy for 7 months saw him once a month it worked out for quite a while if you don't get too serious about it otherwise you'll just get upset you can't be with her all the time. online relationships can make you feel quite confident in a way and gives you more of an idea on what the other sex wants in a relationship. it's also pretty fun i mean you can go out alot and not get nagged and moaned at and still have support and someone to talk to when your down. and if you have webcams you can see eachother aswell which makes it alot easier, and you can talk on the phone.
hope this helped

I will tell you to start, that long distant relationship are very hard; having to overcome a need for physical contact is often what breaks any potential online/long distant relationships. Although online relationships can be greatly rewarding, because you are attracted to that person based on their personality, more than meeting for some physical attraction so you really get to know that person intimately even if you have never met them in person. I can say that it would not be easy, I have tried an online relationship and couldn't handle it, but if you truly have feelings for this person, and are in for the long haul, I have met several people with very rewarding online relationship, a coupld have even gone on to get married. Just talk to her about what you guys both expect, and make sure to always voice any opinions or suggestions to each other. Best of luck to you. ^_^~Des
