I agree with birdy, if you are experiencing bleeding then the infection has possible gone into your bladder. You don't want to mess around because it can go into your kidneys quickly. I would go to a dr asap to get antibiotics. Cranberry Juice will sort out a minor UTI. Peeing after sex is also an excellent idea as it will clear your Urinary Track of any bacteria. And yes, UTI's happen all the time.

I think the others are right, probably UTI. Does it burn down there? After I lost my virginity, I had this problem. The way to solve it is to run a warm water bath and add a cup of Apple Cider Vinegar. Soak until the water cools and do it every day until the pain stops.

You have cystitis, which is a urinary tract infection or UTI. They used to call it "Honeymoon Cystitis". What happens is foreign bacteria enters your urinary tract during sex. You should always pee after sex to prevent this. A lot o women will drink cranberry juice as a cure, and there are a number of other health store products, but it can be a dangerous thing if it's not cleared up. Sounds like you have a fair infection if you are passing blood. The BEST thing to do is see your Doctor and get a round of antibiotics. An untreated UTI can lead to a kidney infection, which is very serious. Go tomorrow to see you Doctor. BTW, a lot of women get them from tight clothing and wet bathing suits too, so that's what you can tell your Mom. Please make sure that you are using two forms of contraception, and always use a condom to prevent STI's and protect your future fertility. ;-) BTW, the first time I ever had this, I had also eaten a lot of beets! I was peeing BRIGHT RED and thought I was going to die, so it could be worse, Hun! LOL!
