writes:im 21yrs old and have been in a relationship for over 3yrs. basically got drunk and cheated on my gf, cant remember it happening at all, dont even know what i did. i explained everything and she has been kind enough to take me back. recently i have discovered i may have caught an std from the 'fling' and if so could have passed it on to my gf. i know im a bastard and all that but was just wondering what someoe would do in my situation?, or would advise my gf to do in her siuation. i love my gf to bits but i no longer feel i deserve her.

If you think you have caught an STI and have given it to your girlfriend, right now your priority should be going to the doctors and getting checked. Do NOT leave this hanging. The most important thing right now is both of your HEALTH. Solve the problems later, but first and foremost make a doctors appointment immediatly.
Be honest with your girlfriend, that is the best you can do for her right now. Do not waste time!

 It's important that you both get checked out as SOON AS POSSIBLE.
It is then completely down to your girlfriend whether she wants to stay with you even through this.

 sorry 2 say this but yea, u are right..u dont deserve her, but that's beside the point at th moment. go for an sti check, GUM clinic is the best and most thorough option, and explain to your girlfriend also, she needs to go and get herself checked out. now if your girlfriend has been kind enough to take you back, that must mean she REALY loves you, and tusts you wont do it again, if that is the case, you are a realy lucky man and should never get into a situation like that again. i realy hope i helped, mail me if u need 2 talk x x x
