He gets really close to me and then does something or says I do something that enables him to pull away for days or even weeks. He says he tries that he gives me his heart and soul and sweat. he said he will make sure no one ever hurts me but then he does something to enable him to hide. Is this a commitment phobic man. And if it how much time should I give to this relationship? Should I change things and play it a bit cooler? Should I say lets date other people. He really is great in everyway except this? Can anyone offer insight to this behavior? Am I wasting my time? Reply to this Question Share |

i don't think you're necessarily wasting your time but if marriage is what you want you may want to look else where...im with a guy who is with a girl for 10yrs and has yet to marry her...and have told me he has no plans on marrying her...
he says he's waiting until he gets older (he just turned 40). im wondering to myself what on earth is he waiting on...lol...who knows...some guys just don't want to be obligated to anything or anybody and i think me and you both are dealing with two of a kind...DO NOT WANT TO COMMIT!
