writes:Hiya everyone cannn u help me out please?I've known this lad for a few week now and he's really really nice.He talks to me looadds over the net but in school it's really awkward!!I really like him and i can't tell if the feeling is mutual, he's really lovely and he says stuff like 'had a good day today' n i'd be like ohhhh why? then he'd say 'coz u spoke to me' n stuff like that! he'a always sayin i'm gorgeous etc I don't know what to do, i don't want to make the first move, because everytime i do i get let down, i can't tell whether he's being genuine!!! my friends say he looks at me and i'm in his top friends on a social network site thingy...we both smiled at eachother today but again it was sooo awkwarddd!!pllllease help meee! thankuuuuuu! :D

 Relax, just talk to him, build it up, work up the confidence, take your time then take a chance. You've got to do it quick, don't let it get away from you. Be happy and be friendly. I am sure he likes you and don't think he'll say no. Go for it.

 It does sound like this guy really likes you, he is certainly giving you all the classic signs of fancying you, what with the smiles, saying you are gorgeous ect. I think in this day and age it does not look out of place for a girl to ask a boy out. Why don't you have fun first, play around a little and do some flirting with him. Try to catch his eye and hold eye contact with him for as long as you can before smiling and looking away. Find an excuse to touch him, maybe when passing, or giving him something. Do this for a while and who knows he may even pluck up the courage and ask you out first.
