Fancy yourself as an agony aunt? Add your answer to this question! A

I'd be wanting to set things straight if i were the boss!!!!

First of all, let me ask: Is he married? What do you know about him?If he's single, great. But, be warned. Working and being involved with your work leader will cause friction between you and your co-workers.Rumors, Rumors, Rumors! You might have to get another job if you get involved with him. That might not be so bad, right?Good luck.

A
reader, anonymous, writes (13 March 2009): Why and how do you feel betrayed? If you thought he was interested then you clearly misread him. He was probably just being nice. Hope the disciplinary is not a pick slip. You just have to get over it and learn from it. Don't beat yourself over it.

How were you betrayed? Did your boss come on to you first? If not, then he's simply putting you in your place. Consider yourself lucky this happened, love affairs with the boss usually end in disaster anyway.

He is your boss from your place of employment. What you did is against every company policy.
Well I just hope the disciplinary action is not termination. If it's not, then you should be happy coz some people get fired. Have a meeting with those responsible for determining the action to be taken. Be honest and just plead your case, and apologize for your actions.
I'm curious, was your boss showing interest in you?
If you don't get fired, don't be too hard on yourself. It's life and stuff happens, and just remember it could be worse. In time, you will laugh about it.
Sorry and good luck.
