A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Okay, the other day my boyfriend and I were having sex and he came inside of me, (Didn't use a condom-I'm on the shot.) and it burned really bad after. Then, I was giving my boyfriend a blowjob and I swallowed and it burned my throat (its the first time I've ever swallowed it.) So, is this normal? I don't know exactly what to ask but I just wanna know if this has happened to any other girls or if it can harm me in any way by burning.

Gabrielle Stoker agony auntI've swallowed a lot of cum over the years and never experienced what you described. Sometimes it's a bad taste, but not a 'burning' sensation. Do you have ulcers in your mouth/throat by any chance?

Might be the acid content,...I'd be more concerned about the burning when he came inside you. You should both see a doctor if this keeps happening.

It's probably the acid content. Being allergic to cum happens, but it's very rare.

pay attention to changes in his taste (you can't taste an STD, so the person that suggested that an STD could influence taste is a bit off).

See if his diet influences it. Smoking can make it nasty.

Pineapple juice is said to make it sweet. Give him a gallon of it and blow him 24 hours later and see!

He could have a std. You should have him get checked out. Daniele

You could be, as someone said, not particularly compatible in terms of pH in his sperm and in you - this can happen.

Or maybe he has thrush of some sort. Or maybe he eats things that make his sperm like that (it tastes different according to what someone has eaten). I know that probably for ever ten blowjobs I give my boyfriend, one of them will taste strangely acidic, and I don't know why, but it must be what he's eaten.

It is weirder that it should burn inside you, though - you need to ask a doctor about it.

I don't mind the taste, I'm just curious about the burning. It burns horribly when he cums inside of me and when I swallow it also.

every guy's cum tastes differant, just like girls taste differant. add this to his diet if you can, cranberry juice and yogurt. these along with certain fruits can alter the way cum tastes. dont be to foward about it tho, try to spoon feed it to him and talk sexy about it like " i hear eating yogart makes the cum taste like it..lol"

followtheblackrabbit agony auntThis is going to sound weird but bear with me...there have been cases where women have been allergic (mildly-strongly) to the sperm of their partner. It's rather rare but possible. Or maybe, his sperm is abnormally hot...? Contact ur Doctor about it. Best of luck!
