I waited and waited for him but nothing ever happened. After a few years I started seeing someone seriously..around the same time my friend let it be know that he was interested...I had fallen for my boyfriend so I didnt let anything happen..my friend and I stopped talking... Its been 5years and I still think of him, I think I still love him...but I dont want to anymore, I want to get on with my life with my boyfriend, we live together and were going to get married... I recently joined facebook, looked up my friend and there he was...I miss him but I want to forget about him. Do you ever forget you first love?

no you will never get over your first love if you want to move on then just move on it is your choice to keep him or your boyfriend but if you are going to get married to this guy then maybe you should move on and NEVER forget your past love.

No, you will never forget your first love.
You will carry those thoughts to your grave.
You can talk to him as a friend and no more.
