A female Portugal age 30-35, *herriBomb writes:

I've been dating a guy for 7 months, we used to have a great time. In April he told me that he was with a girl he met 2 weeks ago, and he also said that it was a joke, nothing sirious. Two weeks after that he told me that he's in love with his best friend and she's also in love with him, then we finally broke up... we haven't talked since April, now he's texting me and telling all the truth, I mean that he was in love with her before we broke up, and that he has been in love with her for a long time. I feel so dumb, but I still love him. What should I do?

A female reader, Moo's Mum New Zealand +, writes (19 July 2011):

Moo's Mum agony auntI'm so sorry this is a horrible situation for you. You will have to concentrate hard on forgetting this guy because it's not going to happen unfortunately. Try and go out with lots of friends frequently, the busier you are the less time you will have to think about him.

All the best sweet it will be hard but you will get there.
