I snooped on my boyfriend, should I confess?

A female United Kingdom age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I did a really silly thing and snooped on my bf, and found out his ex is pregnant.

We have been seeing each other for 6 weeks, however the relationships been pretty intense and we've already discussed long term commitment. In fact I can truly say I haven't been as happy for a long long time.

Anyway he was round the other day and when he was in the shower I looked at his phone. Please dont ask me why i done this, I know his passwords to various social networking sites and haven't once been tempted to snoop. I guess I was just being nosey. Well i came across a message that shocked me. There was one message saying that this girl was pregnant and what were they going to do!

Im assuming this person is the one he was seeing before me - to be honest he doesnt talk much about her.

Anyways i never said anything, afterall I had no right invading his privacy like that. I was hoping he might have told me that night, but he's said nothing. Now im not sure what to do or think. Is this relationship doomed? Should i confess what i know?

Now don't be in a haste, maybe he's not the father but she feels he is the only one she can confide in. Don't do anything rash, but watch him for any suspicious behaviour.
