writes: I recently sent a guy i like a letter telling him that i found him attractive and that id been thinking about him for the last year and would like to get to know him on a more personal level but not knowing his personal circumstances id understand if he didnt want to. Problem is its been a week and although he hasnt replied things are still odd. The guy in question works at my sons old school which is about 10 doors down from my home and visable from my house. When i used to meet up with him i always thought there was a connection and i know ive caught him looking at me as have my friends and for the past year he started to drive home going past my house instead of a quicker route that he used to go which is another road that runs parallel to mine behind the houses opposite me. Since i sent him this letter i expected him to reroute maybe out of embarressment or maybe out of not knowing what to say yet in the past week he is still going past my home. I dont know what to do some of my friends who have know him are supprised he hasnt replied even with a no thankyou and i dont know whether to take his still going past as a good sign or bad - its driving me nuts!  Ok....i think you should leave it now and see what happens.You have wrote him a letter,stating how you felt and that you would like to get to know him better...so now its up to him.If he is interested then he should contact you....if he doesnt then i feel he might be married already or doesnt want a relationship.The fact that he is driving past your house proves nothing....what you want is for him to talk to you.....i think if he doesnt do anything for the next week then i would look elsewhere.

reader, anonymous, writes (24 February 2006): I can imagine how frustrating this is for you but my feeling is that you have put the ball in his court and it is completely up to him now to deal with it - others may disagree with me but that is my feeling on the situation.
