Also, he goes to a military academy. so I only see him once in a while but we always stay in touch. What do you think? Am I really in love? Does he really love me back?

Anyways, I dont think he really means it when he says "I love you" He just says that because thats what you're suppose to say in a relationship.
So dont get your hopes up when he tells you that. But that doesn't mean you should break off your relationship with him. Just understand that your relationship ain't serious.

 You say that you are not in love with him??? I suggest you think about exactly what you are hoping to get out of the relationship. If you are unsure about things between the two of you, talk about your feelings with him.
