writes: Me and My gf are going out for 9 months now.Problem started when she asked me to break my relationship with a good friend(girl) and i did it.Now she has gotten close to friend(boy) and i asked her to do the same,she wont do it.Also she tells me i dont talk to her a lot to which i agree bcoz i am the quiete kinds,and i am making honest efforts to change this aspect.I suggested lets be friends for a while to which she agreed.But now the guy comes to her place and they go on long walks(she tells me,they r just friends).I have asked her to cut off contact,but she says,"v r friends and you cant ask me to do things for you".I cant take all this and have decidied to end the relationship.If i respect and cut off my relationship with my friend when she was being unreasonable,i expect the same from her.Is it Wrong? any advice before i break off?? reader, anonymous, writes (30 October 2006): Equality should be observed here. You obliged to cut off ties with your female friend to strengthen your relationship, so you should expect nothing less from her. You did everything to make it work, she's not cooperating, so I guess you have to move on.
You sound like a loving, loyal man, so find another girl that will treat you with the same love that you deserve.

reader, anonymous, writes (29 October 2006): first mistake u made was cutting off ties with friends. never never do that. ur friends will and should always be there for u. now look at the mess ur in.
reconnect old ties with ur lady friend, if she will still be ur friend. i dont see why she can have friends of the opposit sex an u cant.
if she has a problem with this then say goodbye.
