A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I have been talking to a boy i met at a party a couple of years ago and he seems really nice so we have met up a lot these past few months, i have really started to like him but my friends dont, i dont see what their problem is as they have never really spoken to him. But he does have a bit of a reputation of sleeping around where he lives. I feel he has changed though as we havent had sex but have shared a bed many of times, surely he would have made a pass by now if thats all he was in it for. How can i be sure? How can i get my friends to like him?

The Realist agony auntYou can always ask him but then his answer will depend on how much you trust that he has changed. As for your friends, if they are truely your friends they will be happy with him as long as he makes you happy. They will however be quick to critisize him if he makes any mistakes. Your friends will still be there in the end if it doesn't work out.
