I saw him with his head down on a table during his break and he just looked really sad and down about something. Since then he hasn't smiled or laughed whenever I've seen him. He looks really down and I want to get to know him and maybe cheer him up. I know he's still a stranger and I shouldn't be so concerned but I just can't help it, I really wish I could get to know him but I stutter and always lose my train of thought whenever he takes my order and he usually has to ask a couple of times.. :/ IHow can I strike a conversation with him with so many people in line behind me or get to know him and talk to him ? Maybe you could pass him a piece of paper with your name and number on it with a quick word about going out for coffee somewhere else.

Or u could just say 'hey I've been noticing you've been down lately and I know its not my position to ask but if you want to talk, I'll be here'..And smile when you see him (flirty way).
