A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I really like this guy. The thing is, i am 25 and he is 20. I'm not sure whether he fancies me or only likes me as a friend. he does ask me to meet up with him alot though, and once he put " you'll have to meet me soon coz i want to see you again ", in a text message, and at first,i thought i was going back to college, and he said if i did, he would call into my class to say hello to me,and said we could hang around with each other at break times,as he is going to college. I'm not going now as i have a new job. I know it does sound like he fancies me, but if he does, how should i ask him about it ?.

He is the only guy i have fancied who has been so much younger than me. We have only met up a couple of times so far, but i'm meeting him again tomorrow. He hasn't mentioned how he feels yet in eitehr a text message or in person, and he didn't try anything when we met up, such as kissing, putting his arm around me, e.t.c. Thanks i'd appreciate your help. Just out of curiosity, are there any guys here how have been out with or just fancied someone older who may know how he is feeling, and are there any girls here who have been out with younger guys who can offer some advice on how i could talk to him about it ?.

aphexinfinite agony auntlook age means nothing never did and never has just some frown apon it even though its happened since the old age of dawn! hell im 23 and i dated a 19 year old that felt weird but age is a number and its something that is easily overcome. he sounds interested but you need to make a move as him out for a drink or a plain old coffee chat and things and take it from their you could always ask him out on a date once you get to know him better. i know your scared of rejection but you only live once. a heart can mend but a mind ful of regret is a constant strain and a waste of time so dont regret this go for it! aphex xx
