A male India age 30-35, *mit thakur writes:

Recently a girl joined my college..she is 4 years younger than me..we know each other because her brother was my school buddy. From the first day of her college, I really liked her. Now here comes the problem..

I don't want to tell her that I like her because I think it would be just attraction nothing more. Also I never had a girlfriend, so it could be desperation because I never had any girl in my life and she's the only one who talks to me..

And also she's younger so I don't think it's right..but every time i see her around, the attraction keeps on increasing. She is so pretty!! And no matter what I do, remain away from her and don't think about her, she is always on my mind..

Even worse when I see her standing with a guy, I feel jealous and kind of sad..I feel crazy..what should I do??

I can't ask her out because I know its not right on my part...please help guys. What should i do?? I know it seems funny but it isn't...

A reader, anonymous, writes (25 January 2013):

I think you need to know if she possibly likes you or not first before making a move. To have feelings for a girl doesn't make u desperate, for a straight guy its natural mate.

I say try getting to know her as a friend first and see where things lead. To have a chance with any girl, she has to find you attractive too (as you are aware of anyway lol).

So_Very_Confused agony auntIf you are 21 and she is 17, well then that's not too bad.

4 years is really nothing...

Other than age is there a reason you are hesitating?
