You are a male posting about liking another male so how do you see yourself? if you are gay yourself you will feel it within. You just "know" when someone is gay but unfortunately a lot of us when liking someone, twist the messages we get to convince ourselves he is gay. How do you let someone know you are gay and you like them? Just talk to him and let things take it's course. Just be you.

I am gay. I do not dress metro, and was GIVEN a pair of tight jeans which i believe i wore once. I talk with a normal, articulate voice. I do not speak with a higher voice or act "fruity". And my wrists have never. EVER. flopped.

Eye contact is almost a dead give away. Does he make a lot of eye contact - almost stares at you when you're talking. Does he 'light up' when you enter the room or when he notices you (or someone else for that matter). How does he react to invasion of personal space. Does he move away or not really seem to care that you are 'too close'. These are all tell tale signs that he's attracted to you... and hence possibly gay.
The reverse psychology idea works well... but you might want to me just a tad more subtle and bring up the subject of like... Prop 8 in california, or DADT (don't ask, don't tell)... just to find out his opinions on gay related subjects. If they are negative... then you might ask the... 'well what if i were gay' - if he doesn't know already.

I know a lot of gay people and have watched many people come out of the closet as gay. It's different for every person. Here are things ive noticed though:
- When they try to convince everyone around them they are crazy about someone of the opposite sex. Its normal to tell friends that you like someone, but I tend to find people who have not come out as gay, try to convince everyone and flaunt the fact they "like" someone.
- The way they dress. Most guys who are gay that I know, dress very well/metro. Im not talking about designer clothing, i mean like high fashion like clothing such as Tighter pants, scarves, cardigans, v-neck shirts etc.
- The way the talk can be a huge give away. Such as higher voices and what not
- Floppy wrists. Enough said.
