I've known him for around 3 years now, but we've only just become friends recently and I see him as a really good friend too, but there's something to him that makes me want to see him everyday and makes me continuously think about him.(Oh by the way, in case you're wondering, I'm in high school, and thats how I know him.)So.. I'm not too sure if he likes me too cause one of my friends says that he doesn't (although, I think she used to like him too), but I always catch him looking at me and smiling when I catch him. He's also really sweet and always compliments me, but then sometimes he'll just be really quiet, so I dunno.So, to the question. I don't know if I should just be completely honest with him with my feelings, because the last time I did with another guy, it went horribly wrong and I don't think I could risk it again. reader, anonymous, writes (19 November 2006): hmmm...maybe he's just a veyr overly freindly guy...just because he stares at you doens't mean he "likes" you, he could be staring at your breasts, even though i know you probably tihnk he's sucha good guy and he's not that type. Still, get closer with him and talk to him more, that way you can tell frmo the way he talks to you, if he likes you or not. Don't say anything yet, just get to know him better and if you both like each other, slwoly, you'll open up.

 my advise is to follow your heart. if you like him and feel he as given you signs to say he likes you then find the courrage to ask him.
sometimes friend are selfish as much as they love you they will mostly have in the back of their mind but i saw him first or if i can have him then neither can you.
be strong know what you want to say to him, maybe he is just shy to come up to you,at least you will know for yourself, and nobody needs to know that you're going to ask him or tell him how you feel.
if i was going to tell a guy how i flt i would syke myself up by watching a movie that has a happy ending where the girl gets her man, for some reason it sparked something in me, gave me a confidence boost.
or try looking in the mirror as if you are talking to him, to see how he would see you.
