writes: Happy New year everyone. I met this girl at a Halloween fancy dress party 2 months ago. She is a friend of a friend, we hit it off straight away, we talked and we danced, nearly the end of the night we kissed, we swapped numbers.A few days later we met up for a coffee, she seems to have a good time with me, we kissed again at the end of the date and agreed to meet up again. On the agreed time she said shes not coming and hopefully we bum into each other sometimes. So I asked her what went wrong, she told me that I was interesting and nice and treated her really nice and she only agreed to go out with me coz' I seems like a nice guy. She told me that she wasn't ready for a relationship and sorry to mess me about. Well that was the oldest excused in the book, I really like her she is cute, intelligent and funny, to me we seems to get along very well. However we stay friends we texted occassionally, since I still really fancy her. I went out on a date with a couple of girls since. I haven't seen her for the last two months till the new years eve at a pub, since we have mutual friends. She turned up with her two sisters and a friend. It was really arkward for me, she said hi but we didn't talk much to each other especially when she started talking about a guy to one of my mates and texting him all night. I was thinking this is gonna be the worst new years eve in my life and I wanted to go home. However, her older sister started talking to me, and we got along very well, I decided to stay. After the counting down and everybody kissing each other for the new year, her younger sister asked me to dance, we danced very very closed for quite a while, I got a along well with her too. At this point, the girl and me still hadn't talked much.We moved on to a house party later on, but had to walked to reach there. On the way there we had to cross a field, she got stuck in the grass coz. she was wearing heels. So, I came to the rescue, she was quite drunk at this point, we started to walk with each other cuddling and she kept saying how great I was (hmm sigh, people say crazy things when they drunk..), after a while everybody had dissapeared in front, so we were left all alone, she started to put her head on my shoulder, getting very cozy and reminded me how we kissed before and came on to me but I didn't kiss her, I had my reasons, one she was really drunk she didn't know what she was doing, second, I don't wanna get hurt. But now I regret not kissing her and whether I had blew my chances with her altogether, this is the girl that I really fancy. When she was drunk she invited me to her birthday bash next weekend, so, if I'm still invited I will go to the party.I really like this girl and I dont know what to do, I wonder if I'll get another chance of kissing her, would I get another chance? or she might be with the guy she was talking about by next time I see her and that will destroy me. Help

reader, anonymous, writes (3 January 2007): ok the girl u met probably liked how you were and thats why she kissed you but since i'm a girl and i know about these things i'm gonna tell you when she agreed to go on a date with you she probably just wanted to be cool with you and talk but when she lagged on that one date it was probably coz she knew you were flling for her so she told you what she told.That night she was all up on u was coz she was drunk she probably thinks your cute but she like you that way and the guy she was texting is probably i guy shes sprung of. she probably got drunk for a reason.Move on talk to other people and dont waste your time on just one person because if it was really ment to be it would've already worked out
