writes: My 20 Year old girlfriend Of 2 Years has ended it with me last week. Things had not been right for quite a while, but I didn't think it would really come to this. What makes it worse is that she has started seeing somebody else. I only found this out because I pushed and pushed her to tell me. Was I right in finding out? reader, anonymous, writes (1 November 2005): She is trying to find someone who fills the image she has of the man she should marry- someone not unlike her own father, perhaps. You are at a difficult age to satisfy all the dreams and hopes of a woman your same age. You will find someone else, and she will also find someone after this romance has run its course. These are growing pains. Sorry you are feeling so badly, but you will survive and flourish, just like the rest of us have.
