well ive liked this guy for ages and ages now, like over a yesr or something and he likes me too, i think about him none stop and we have the cutest conversations, people say were made for each other, everytime i see him (which isnt often, maybe once a month if that) my heartt just falls out seriously, he told me last night by text that he really wanted to meet up with me soon because he misses me, and he was sending the cutest texts EVER and he practically told me that he loved me, well he did! and i had this dream about him last night, and no one knows how much i like him!! its soo hard to explaain, but hes just told me that hes got a new job and its for a year, and hes got to move away for a year 2 hours away!! this means i arent even gonna be able to see him or anything, what if he gets a girlfriend while hes there, what if he settles in and doesnt move back :( i really dont want him to go ill miss him like crazy, as soon as i find out i just busrt out cryin! i really dont know wat to do :( he said he will miss me too, n stuff, but do i belive him?! i proper love him, do you think he'll be ok?! will he come back?

hi thanks both of you. :) im only 16, he is actually 20 and is moving to this job as it is a work placement for uni. it lasts for a year then he will hopefully be back to his home town. we arent actually dating but we might as well be married the way we are with each other! i lost my dad back in december and he text me, he knew there was something wrong with me and as soon as i told him what was wrong he phoned me, i was crying down the phone and he told me he was here n everything! we was on the phone for about an hour and by the time id put the phone down, he was at my door and gave me the biggest hug ever!! he doesnt live local but this shows that hes there for me! and he wouldnt come half an hour in his car to see me if he didnt care :) thanks guyss again x

ChiRaven agony auntTwo hours is not the other side of the moon, you know. If he's got a decent job and he's interested, he should be able to make it back to see you on a reasonably regular basis. Be sure he knows that you are interested in continuing to build a relationship with him, and hope that he can come back mfor visits often. Don't be demanding or needy ... that's more likely to drive him away. But let him know for sure that you are interested.

If he really does have feelings for you he'll be back to see you, and it won't be all that long before you could be in a position to go visit him, too.

Yes, there's a possibility that one or both of you might meet someone else in the meantime. That's always a danger in relationships, at any age. But keep up your lines of communication and try to keep building on what you've already established, and if it's meant to be AND you work at it you'll see it happen.
