Get to know this guy you feel you love, ask him about his life fo example i you ask im about his favouite colour eg blue, just say I love blue too, go along with it... dont be too desperate, but if you really love him more tan you boyfriend, then go for it!

 Who says you can't have two friends that are boys? You are allowed to be friends with guys, you don't have to jump into an immediate relationship.
I would stay honest with your partner for now, and perhaps get to know your partners friend - go out for meals, lunch etc as a *group* i.e you, your partner and his friend.
Ask your self what you value about your boyfriend, you must be with him for a reason - he has a great personality perhaps? It would be a shame to ruin a good relationship to walk into one where you're not sure about the persons personality, you may find hes a total idiot.
You also got to consider your partners feelings if you were to just suddenly leave him and go to his best friend - would be unfair and cause disruption in their friendship.
