I once told a friend that I never have these nocturnal emissions and he said I must just wank off too much. Well, I don't know how much is too much. All I know is that I never wake up in a wet bed. Do most guys have these? Reply to this Question Share |

You're normal.

Nope. Not all boys or men have them.
Grant is correct, that wet dreams, or nocturnal emissions (medical term) are common in the early teen years.
Basically, some young men as they sexually mature, have hormonal and seminal "surges" and the wet dream may not include an actual dream. It is just your body relieving some steam.
NOT having them, does not make you abnormal.

I think they're much more common in the early teen years. I doubt I've had more than one or two since I was 15. I'm sure the interval between ejaculations is different for everyone, but I'm thinking it would have to be a couple of weeks before I'd have one.

Sounds kinda different to me but why worry about it? Doesn't sound like a problem. Less sheets to wash right?
