writes:I met this guy the other day at a wedding that i went to with my mom. it was her friend from work, so i didnt know the family that well. he was the bride's brother and is nineteen (2 yrs older than me). ...as the wedding was going on i noticed this guy on the altar that i thought was really good looking. later on at the recpetion people kept on coming up to me saying that this guy kevan wanted to dance with me.i was very flattered that (whoever he was) noticed me out of everyone there. at this point i had no idea who he was. people pointed him out to me and i was presently surprised on who it was. it was the original guy that caught my eye :) everyone was telling me he was soo shy but he was a really sweet and genuine guy, so hopefully he will ask me. he ended up asking me shortly after that and he did not seem shy at all. we talked about random small talk stuff. i was acting so shy around him though. i dont know why but i couldnt just put myself out there. but, he was extremely sweet. he told me how he was nervous to ask me to dance but decided to anyways cause he knew that people told me. i said i was cold at one point and he offered me his jacket. he was just such a gentleman. later on he asked me to dance again but the night ended too soon. even though i only talked to him for those few songs.. i can not forget about him. he was completley my type and the good guy i am looking for. i never got his number cause he was caught up in all hustle and bustle of the wedding. how could i possibly talk to him again? with out feeling like a stalker? haha

reader, anonymous, writes (25 July 2009): It should not be too difficult, hon. Just ask your friends from the wedding to give you his number, address, or email. Just say you are sending 'thank yous' You only have to drop a line saying you appreciated him making you feel comfortable at the "event" and that you enjoyed meeting him. Let him take it from there. That is not a "strong come on". I would not think so. In fact, he may be kicking himself that he did not get your number.
