However I am a wheelchair user due to an illness I have had for over 8 yrs. Because of this "disability" I don't get out to meet people. So will I always be single or will be ever see me for me? Maybe you could try meeting more people through a singles service or something like that? The right person will love your mind and spirit and won't care one bit about your wheelchair. Do the best you can to go out and try to mingle. I know it may be hard, but being lonely has to make it much worse... ask a friend or family member to help you get out more and just be yourself. Someone will come along... all you have to do is be open to letting new people in your life. Good luck!

I agree being in a wheelchair shouldn't prevent you from finding a partner. But having a disabiling illness makes things even harder!

Being in a wheelchair will never stop a person finding true love. I truly believe that there is someone out there for all of us. Never give up hope and always be positive.
