I'm in a relationship now and I really am happy but I can't help but to think about the guy(I don't miss him I just need to know that he's suffering like he made me) I heard he got arrested and I haven't seen him for almost 2 years so I guess its true.  If you google his name, his facebook, myspace, etc. will come up and you can find him that way. You can also see when his last login date was, that could give you some clue as to whether or not he's in jail.

reader, anonymous, writes (24 November 2008): Is there an equivalent 'friends reunited' site in France as that is really good. If you know where his parents are you might be able to get a friend to call them and find out where he is, getting them to pretend to be one of his friends. You can call prisons and ask about an inmate's well being and then you would know if he was there or not, working your way around. A friend in the police might help although they would not want to be seen giving out any information. I can't think of anything else thats' free. Good luck!

 I think that you can continue to google or search other sites for the scumbag's name, or check with the police. Not certain about socialist France, but police and judicial records are generally public in America. I would hope such is true there as well. Best wishes to you.
