 From your description here, I'd say yes, he did it for you. That tightening up/spasm-type feeling is your first clue. Sounds pretty normal but each woman is different. He probably didn't "feel" anything per sey, but might have been aware that something was going on with you. You may or may not get wetter after climax, each person's body is different. I've never heard of a different "taste" as a result of an orgasm, I suppose it stands to reason, but only he could tell you for certain. Be aware that doing this for you and getting nothing in return is really great and all but that usually doesn't last for long. Be prepared for that.
