You say "right now we are apart", which makes it sound like you might get back together.
Is that realistic? If not, the first step is to accept that it's over. You won't be able to get over him unless you accept it's over.
After that, it takes effort to do things to distract yourself somewhat so you're not moping around dwelling on him. And it takes time. Three years is a long time together. Do you have to see him, at school or college? Could you avoid seeing him for a while?
