What I would suggest is though that you put no pressure on him here and go with whatever his decision is - it is a large step for many people to take and one that many would be uncomfortable with.
I know that many guys say that a session with two women is an ultimate fantasy and there would probably be a better chance of him to agree with this as opposed to a treesome with you two and an extra fellow.
