I want to give them a really special gift, but i have no idea what! I was thinking of painting a picture of them together but am unsure of my neglected creative skills lol. Any suggestions?? It really needs to be special and from the heart...I appreciate your help!

I think a picture of them would be a great gift, but you say you may not be able to paint one of them.
Now, I have an idea, try and get a nice photo of them, one you know they will definitely like, take it along to a photographer and get them to enlarge it, they have all kinds of magical techniques nowadays ~ of making photo's look like oil paintings.
They may be quite pricey though, so you could ask other members of your family to chip in on the cost ~ making it a joint gift.
Also be aware, the photographer may charge the earth for a frame, so just tell them you don't want it framed. You can shop around and choose a frame yourself. Tesco's, Wilko's, Sainsbury's even market places sell great frames, and at a fraction of the price.
That way you've added that extra special touch to the finished product. If the picture has the 'oil paint' efect, then don't put the glass in the frame, that will make it look more authentic.
Hope you find this helpful, if you don't like the idea, come back and i'll think of something else.
