So here's my situation in a nutshell...I have been trying to get back with my ex gf for a while now we still talk, she tells me she needs her space and I am giving it to her we still go to weddings and other stuff together...she tells me that she will give it another chance just hasnt said when exactly she knows we need to give it another chance to see if we are meant to be together..I have tried moving on meeting other women tried dating sites all that stuff and I havent yet found anyone and yes I have been open minded when talking to other women...what is the best approach I read articles all the time on what to do when trying to get your ex gf back and gotten a bunch of different advice such as leave her be go date other women give her space etc...any input would help thanks

A female reader, angelDlite United Kingdom +, writes (13 July 2011):

angelDlite agony auntthe reason you broke up - is the problem still present? i mean if you get back together will things be any different? be careful that she is not keeping you dangling so she has got a date to go to all these weddings etc with, and be honest with yourself - do you only want her back because you have not managed to find anyone else?

so first, ask yourself honestly, do you REALLY want her back (for the right reasons) if the answer is yes, then i think the direct approach is best - tell her you want her back, and ask her to truthfully answer you as to whether this is going to happen coz i personally think that 'space' is the last step before the end
