I would be working at the weekends. I am on Jobseeker's Allowance. I have to work 16 hours a week or above if I want to sign off benefits. This job would be for 16 hours a week, so I can do that. I do want a job, but I am wondering if this would be the right kind of work for me, as I would have to stand around all day talking to customers. What do you think?.

Try it anyways, instead of making reasons as to WHY not try. It may be absolutely perfect for you and it may not. Not everyone can deal with crowds or strangers or noisy environment. But sometimes we have to put ourselves in situation to face those fears. Who knows you might turn out to be a true natural.

Why not try it? It doesn't sound like you can really BE too picky.

Go for it!
But for a job like this, you have to appear confident to get through the interview so work on that before the interview, but yes, this job will benefit you in the long run.
Good luck!
