A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

I play a musical instrument. I have private lessons, but I also play in a band, and the band provides my musical instrument. I would like to carry on practising the musical instrument, but to do that I need to stay in the band, and to do that, I need to re-audition.

Meanwhile, I missed my audition, and even if it is rescheduled, I have no idea what piece to play, and I haven't got a music exercises sheet, because it was provided through the Music Service, and I have private lessons. I don't want to quit playing. A new musical instrument wouldn't be too expensive, but my parents said they wouldn't like to buy one right now. I haven't told them about any of this yet. What should I do????
