A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Helloo.

around a year ago now i fell out with my best friend, after having a massive fight with her boyfriend. we have been ignoring each other ever since, now its been a year its starting to get awkward as we are in all the same classes. She always gives me evils and if i do one thing wrong she runs up and tells a head of year leaders. Or she gets her pushy mother to come knocking on my door to shout at my mum. Her boyfriend is just as bad, hes in my English class and he sits there with the other boys just laughing at me and bitching about me. i cant take this anymore. its getting to the point where i don't want to go to school anymore. My "best friend" is always on my mind, i just want to be mates with her again. i dont know what to do. me and her wouldn't go a day without talking to each other. I don't know what to do anymore, i still have a year left of school. and i cannot do this for another year.

Thanks for any help i get. x

A female reader, blueskyday United States +, writes (12 June 2011):

well it seems that she's very immature girls in the middle school age are catty and WANT drama so chances are if you try to be nice with her she'll even make fun of that but for now just ignore her make her think you don't care and just pretend even to have fun without her do whatever you can to make her see you don't care nor want her in your life it'll work , after she stops and realizes she's probably going to apologize to you for putting you through that and that'll be a great time to patch it over. This has happened to me and my friend this year also and i'm around your age (15) it's still not the same but that's only cause i'm not letting us get any further than just friends not really good friends or best friends but everything should work out, and btw if it does continue what they're doing is harassment if it continues talk to your parents or a teacher
