I met him online. His behavior alarms me. Should I just let things go?

A female United States age , anonymous writes:

I met a man on an online dating site a little less than 2 weeks ago, he is 57, I'm 50. He's a soldier in Afghanistan, his tour is over December 15th. He was married for 18 years, divorced for 7, I was married for 15 years and divorced for 3. He claims I am the answer to his prayers, that he loves me and that we are destined to be together for the rest of our lives. His behavior (confidence or is it arrogance) scares me. Don't know if he's mentally stable or just really strong willed. Should I just let this go?
