writes:recently ive met a few new people, this one guy, i really likewe've metup a few times, and the last time we met up he put his arm round me and things and it was really nice.that night after he left he asked me if i enjoyed it, i thought that we both really liked each other but a few days later i was talkin to him on msn and he told me he was really depressed coz he really liked another girll.. so now im really confused weather i should tell him i like him n stuff :| xx

 it sounds like you really like him, and i understand how you feel but if he's that sad then you should be a friend to him and see if he's ok and say if he wants to talk about it then you are there for him, and maybe in time tell but not just yet wait until he's over this girl and see how things go. hope it helped :)

 This guy could be doing a couple of things. First, he may want to see how you'll react, or two he might be playing games with you to see if you're jealous or something. If you two went out and had a good time he probably likes you and just as confused as you.When he asked you if you liked it, did you say something definate like I really enjoyed it and would love to hang out again or did you just say yes?Also he could be depressed cause he thought he liked the other girl but now thinks he likes you and he's confused.Almost the same exact thing happened to me a few weeks ago. I met a girl at a party while i had feelings for another girl, but i put my arm around the new girl and talked to her. After thinking and a LOT of talking, we've decided to give it a try and we really like each other.If i was you, i'd tell him that you like him, especialy if you won't get to see him often if you dont date.Good luck and i hope everything works out.
