writes: Hi friends, Please help me. I am a student of class 11 and I have fallen in love with a classmate of mine. I just truly love her, but all my friends and her friends now know that I like her, and most probably she also knows that I like her. She is somewhat of a shy type of girl and I am shy too. Firstly, she used to talk with me daily but our classmates then used to say that we are girlfriend and boyfriend. She doesn't likes this, so she now talks with me very rarely. She knows all about me that I like her but I have not told her. Some of her friends might have told her this. I also talk with her whenever I find her alone. She is all I can think about and I have ruined my studies because of her. I used to think of her all the time and used to think about the conversations I made with her last time. Please help me. What should I do now?

Try and see if she will talk to you when no one else is around. Some girls hate being teased. If she seem to like talking to you then, maybe she does like you, and just don’t want her friends to tease her.

This is normal amongst teenagers. If you like to have this relationship, talk to her personally in private and know her feelings and know what she thinks about you or what she considers you as. Since she is shy and you said you too are, don't expect her to talk with you in the public. She does not talk to you these days may not necessarily mean that she does not love you. It could be the other way round also. SO the best thing is to talk it over with her. If you get a negative response, don't worry. Feelings and likings often changes unexpectedly during teenage. You could change your taste too. Making friendship or falling in love with a girl is not forbidden; however, please make sure that it does not affect your studies anyway. Remember, no one would like a loser; not at least her family. Good luck.
