I've had my best friend for two years now, btw he's a guy, and realized I loved him last December. Now, a friend of mine has confessed his love to me on Valentine's Day. I'm really confused because my friend wants to be my boyfriend, but I'm still in love with my bestie! HELP!!!

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (16 February 2011):

If you're in love with your best friend, don't go out with this other friend. You'll never be able to give him your all, and if your best friend ever made a move, you'd wind up hurting this other friend.

I'm afraid as it is, you need to remain single and you need to sort out this situation with your best friend (perhaps even cut contact) - because no man will be able to compete, and all your future relationships will be a lie.
