Try to spend some time with other friends so that you think of him less, and try to meet someone new who is unattached and really wants you. That would be much better than someone who just wants to be mates. Then you can go out in a foursome and have the best of both worlds.

You continue to carry on this crush in your head and nowhere else. If it is a strong, serious relationship then you should not be interfering. You should be moving on and finding a single fella to think about. It will be hard, but the reality of the situation is that you just can't do anything about this crush right now.
Space yourself from them for awhile and find some new people (and new guys) to hang around while you settle your feelings down.
Good luck!
