But recently he asked me if it was okay if he asked one of my closest friends out, and i said that it was up to him and that i didn't rule his life.  Sounds like a bit of a no good player to me my dear. I think the best course of action here is to just move on from him. As the saying goes, there's plenty more fish in the sea, and your prince charming is out there somewhere :)
