 You do nothing. He's your best friend's boyfriend and that how's it should stay. Don't ruin your friendship for some guy who you really don't love and you might not even last too long.
So if he supposedly loves you, then why is he going out with your best friend? And why, in your full knowledge that they were going out, why you decided to start liking him? I sense a "best-friend jealousy" syndrome.
And please don't use the word "love" so deliberately. It's a strong attraction what you two MAY have. Nothing farther from that.

 Well First Of All Look AT iT From Your friends point of view.! This is her best friend and her boyfriend telling each other that they love each other. she will be heartbroken if she finds out and she will be very hurt with you and it could destroy your friendship. trust me my best friend done this to me its not nice at all. She will be very hurt if he dumps her for you 2. Im sorry to say but i think that if u did this too your best friend then your not a very good one at all because friends dont do that to eachother.

 well if you have to choose if you want to loose your best friend over a boy you might break up with sooner or later . if your best friend was a person you couldnt live without , i wouldnt do this to her . If the boy doesnt like that girl no more he should tell her himself . Then wait till she gets over him and then you could make your move for eachother if you still like him . But make sure you check with your best friend first just in case she gets hurt . good luck . thanks . kirsty x
