A male United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Hi, I'm not new to relationships or dealing with women, however; this is a little more complicated than I would like it to be and could use some opinions. I have a problem trying to decide if this girl is worth my time. It all started a few weeks ago when I started talking to her online and it so happens that she lives in small farm town in in the middle of the US. Me being from a more fortunate end of California was instantly attracted to her. Everything I know about and am used to seems to be non existent where she lives making her life so much simpler and different than mine. At first all I was interested in was getting to know her background and learning about where she's from but after hours on the phone I couldn't help but start growing feelings for her. It safe to say that I love everything about her down to her southern accent, I'm afraid I've fallen for a girl I haven't met in person. I clearly stated to her that I want to persue a relationship and will move mountains and split oceans as money isn't an issue and am willing to relocate to Oklahoma just to be with her. She likes me too but I'm afraid that she will play me in the end and I will get my heart broken. Is there such thing as love at first sight because I want to believe but I'm not quit there yet. Thank you for reading and will gladly appreciate any advice.

Thanks guys and yeah obviously I wouldn't move before meeting her and there would be nothing to persue if we didn't click. I'm not trying to er ahead of myself here but that's what I would ultimately do if everything goes fine and worked out in the end. I'm a 26 year old pharmacist with close to no family so moving isn't hard for me. Thanks for all the advice and input.

So_Very_Confused agony auntGo meet her. spend some time with her. get to know her.

do not make plans to move just yet... for all you know when you meet her you may not click..

and if you do click... don't immediately jump into living together.

If you are willing to relocated what about work? what about family? what about friends?

my husband was willing to relocate just two hours south of where he was... we had an LDR for a year till he moved to where I was. He lost his job. He gave up his apartment of ten years. Any local friends he had, gone... I now am pretty much his entire life socially and it sucks sometimes.

are you really willing to give up everything?

SensitiveBloke agony auntYou're getting way ahead of yourself here.

Meet her and see what she's like in person before you start making all these plans.
