You don't lose your "virginity" in the sense that you are a virgin until you first time have a penis in your vagina. But, you can rupture your hymen, which can cause bleeding. In several cultures, they use the hymen as "proof" of virginity. Although several women are born with no hymen, or a hymen that does not cover much (they come in different sizes, really, and no hymen ever covers completely as menstruation blood and other discharge is still allowed through). The use of tampons may also rupture your hymen.
So no, you wont lose your virginity, but you might lose your "proof" of virginity. However this "proof" is only necessary if you live in a culture where you will be punished for not be able to prove you are a virgin.

No, BUT it can break your hymen but in more
technical terms" to lose your virginity it means penis in vagina.
If intact hymen = virgin in your country, and you want to stay a virgin, I suggest NOTHING gets inserted in your vagina.

As Cerberus said, it depends on how you view your virginity. It you determine losing virginity as being penetrated for the first and defloration (breaking of the hymen) then yes that can be the case.
But if you determine losing virginity as having sexual intercourse for the first time, then no it can't be the case. But as some cultures believe that a girl's hymen is a sacred thing and a determining factor of being 'pure' then it doesn't matter how it is broken to stop you being a virgin.

A
